In June of 1985, my dad and I lived together, in Blue Springs, MO. He asked me,then, to write his eulogy, which, now, I've just almost have written. He died in January of 2009,and I've not had his memorial yet. It will be full military, and I can probably do the funeral myself, or have the funeral home do it. I am ordained, myself.

To pass the time, about every week, while he was in the hospital between August-January 22nd, 2009,I took pictures of him. I'm very thankful I did it. Yes I took the last picture of him, as well. It's in my Blackberry, and he'd not want people to see him in that manner. So, here's a blog post, to my dad.
He was born on 12/11/1929, in Blue Springs, MO, to Leo and Mildred. He is the oldest of 3 boys: Riley, the Uncle Butch. I suspect that he was either born at home, or in a hospital. Grandpa worked in a warehouse, and grandma worked in a machine embroidery company. My dad went to Blue Springs Highschool. He joined the military and fought in the Korean war. He met my mom,and they got married in 1952. They moved to Anchorage, Alaska, due to military duty.
In April, of 1962, they adopted me. I was born in March. They went to the Critteton Center, and picked me out of all the babies there. When I got home,I had 2 bird dogs, Saint and Angel. The dogs got large, and were sold, and dad bought a dachshund, named Babe. About this time, grandpa, bought the cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks.
(I'll type more later. I don't like too large of Blog post.)
