Trust Your Vibes

I just returned from an all day conference with Sonia Choquette, author of "Ask Your Vibes", and "Love Yourself, Live Your Spirit."

Her conference is based on 4 types of spirits: earth, fire, water, air.

Earth types are grounded, quiet, and sometimes a bit timid, but are down to earth. They like to be helpful, and often walk slower than the others, never in a hurry. Earth people analyze things.

Water types cry alot. A whole lot, and they also are the one's who pry into your life, and want to know everything that is going on. Water people are always worried.

Air types have every gadget imaginable, and when they travel, they are the type who have the wee little pair of scissors if you need them.If you need it, they have one packed. They are often full of hot air, and go from one project to another, sometimes not finishing the first one. Air people want to provide advice.

Fire types kick your butt to get it in gear. They actually do hold their butt tighter, and are sometimes quite hyper. They are the one's who get things going, and keepthings alive.

We also learned aobut the parts of the heart, in metaphysical terms:
The top right is the inner child, the bottom right is the inner adult.
The upper left is the wise part, the bottom left is the courage part.

The minute you stop and breath, you create a vibration. You become back to earth, and you become present. You should always use the front part of your brain to think, the back part of your brain is used for past memories. Think with your third eye.

The best way to get you back to the present is to stop, and let out a big loud sigh. Frequently. Also, stop to dance, music can bring you to the present quickly.

If you are cautious, figure out what you are afraid of. Ask your self, "Why am I afraid?" Then repeat, "Why?" Then again and again.

We doubled up,and did a short meditation, and voiced our fears, while the other one listened, with out saying a thing. That was very interesting, and challenging.

Sonia spoke for almost 6 hours, and I'm so glad I went. I feel like I got alot out of it.
